If I will sort a sleeved block for a next season so that I can run 13:1 pistons, this will make about 280bhp or a little bit more. Now with 12:1 we got 269bhp and 233nm on DASTEK dyno.

Stunning dude :nice:, cant wait to finish mine should be done soon:)

Seen this engine conversion for sale few times

Ye, I still have an idea to do some changes under the bonnet, but first I need a potential buyer for current setup (that's why it was advertised on ebay). I use what I got and don't worry :) Just I feel like reached max out of a B series NA engine, so would like to start a new project and to jump into 300+bhp range :)

That looks EPIC mate!
May I ask what your making your front splitter out of and what your using to mount it?

Yes, sure. I made it of aluminium composite (alu/plastic/alu - alucobond or similar) and with a few layers of fiberglass to make it solid. Mounts I made from aluminium, simple T form brackets. Going to use some extra supporting rods. Still working on this. Can get more feedback later.

Ah I have been after some of that material for a while.
Would you mind telling me where you got it from. I didn't seem to have any luck.

great build this mate, love the end picture of the crx sitting in the grass

You can try to look for/ask at advertising companies. They use these shields for various marketing/advertising purposes (sorry for my average English language skills as this is my second language).

It is called alucobond, lightbond, etc. (idea is the same, just different manufacturers). They are various thickness too. I choose 3mm, because it is lighter and more rigid than 2mm aluminium. Also you can find it in 4 or 5mm. Also this material is used sometimes for exterior finishing of various modern buildings, so it must be not so hard to find.

I have another idea, which we tested and which I would choose if I do it again, but I can't find the name for it in English :) Will look for and update for you.

Awesome car mate! Looks class!

What's the weight at currently and your target weight for it? 700kgs?!

This is my dream weight mate :)

Dry car (no fuel) weights 860kg (without aero). Complete in track with driver it weights 1000kg :S So after some mods I believe this will weight 1000kg in track with aero added.
