hey mate!

the d16z6 is the best sohc engine, my opinion! a friend of mine boosted his ej with the z6 inside and gets around 250hp with ~15psi.
 
yeah its a very good sohc engine because its a low compression block which is very good for turbo... if you compare it with a B16a there's not that much different... but when you turbo them both the D16z6 will always win... cheaper parts, cheaper engine and very good for boost... D16z6 nowadays you can pick em up for about £100 and that is cheap as chips... but im not going for boost because i have a B18cR already waiting to be put in but just need the all the mounts and engine loom... so that will be the cheapest option... and plus im going for N/A high compression block with ek9 pistons, skunk2 valve train....

very nice looking civic, what alloys are they? looks great against the ssb
 
so similiar to mine but with different alloys !
