SRS Warning Light

I'm trying to cancel the SRS warning light from the dash. Since I bought the car it has been illuminated due to an Spoon steering wheel. It passed an M.O.T. last year but I'd like to get it cleared for ease of it's next test.

I'm using this guide. However I cannot get it to clear and want to check I'm doing it right. I'm using a 2.2 Ohm resistor in the below connector;

I've also got the opposing part of the connector so wire in the resistor to keep things tidy and not take apart connectors.

Is this correct connector and is there anything further that I should be doing?

I just popped the dash out, and unplugged the yellow plug and the light was gone. Passed two MOTs since, make it 3 next month or so if I don't get found out

I done the same as ally :)

Which yellow plug is this? I had to remove that srs thing completely (the round thing that turns with the wheel) and my lights on. I only realised afterwords that you could get srs compatible bosses.
