Hey lads, Im just wondering has anybody on here bought any wheels from these guys? Im interested in the 98 spec Dc2 wheels but because they are a new company i dont know if they have a good or bad reputation. Anyone got any experience with them? Cheers.

Sprint wheels as far as i'm aware is owned and run by the same people that own Tegiwa imports, Johnny and Luke.

They have a fairly good reputation on here and other sites like the ITR forum so i cant see you having any problems with them. however if your talking about the quality of the wheels i cant comment as i know nothing about this.

A guy i know who owns a EK9 brought these, saw them on his car, really look identical to the real deal, if your having doubts with the build quality or anything im sure you can get hold of the real ones for £350, anyhow i would buy these reps, can't really tell :nice:

Yeah Tegiwa seem to have a good reputation and i would have no problem there. Its just i know that certain alloys can be very soft and buckle quite easily so thats where i am concerned. Cheers Dunsy.

I have searched for the real ones on eBay and places but nothing is turning up at the moment. And i think they are discontinued from Honda. Thats why im looking into these. Has the guy you know had the wheels for long? Cheers Kaks.

Think you can only buy the 16" Teg wheels 2nd hand.

He has had them for a month or so, why don't you PM him and ask him, his user-name on here is JKK (a very nice chap)

If i had £300 odd quid to spend on wheels, i would go for them ;)

Mix it up a bit mate, go for them in 16s, i think that'd work so well with the right drop

Well it was actually a picture of your car that made me wanna get them. I think your car looked perfect on them! :nice:

OH Sorry i thought you were after the EK9 wheels. I should really read properly.

yeah go for it man for sure, BUT the same goes with these wheels, you need to be fairly low to pull them off.

Ha ha! No worries. How much of a drop are we talking about? Did you have any issues with your tyres rubbing after you lowered it?

Yes, the tyres rubbed but they were a 205/50/16 if i remember correctly. You would be fine with a 195/45/16

I cant remember how much that was lowered by...It was just before i bought my coilovers and i chopped the springs, Think it was 3 coils mate

I Couldnt tell you if im being honest mate, i have a feeling its 205/50 though but im sure someone will be along just now to confirm/correct :)
