Some spring treats for car

New recaro speed covers Great at protecting the lovely seats.

Then I thought I would replace my mats My mats were in good condition apart from driver one which looked terrible So got these EK fitment mats for about £22 brand new & although not as nice as oem will do me just fine looks nice & new inside now.

And fitted in car

And then gave the car a bloody good valet

WOW those mats are ass, put the OEM ones back in!!

I love the oem mats but my driver one is in a right state No cleaning is going to repair it

Yeah it's common for them to tear near the eye. I'm sure you can source a better condition one from somewhere, though.

Rather spend money on other things really I only use mats to protect car carpet & some of the prices of second hand mats is .

The reason I never bought jdm mats for my ep3 was if I spent £120 on mats I would never put my feet on them

1.Karcher water spray
2.Karcher foam lance with megs gold
3.while snow foamed wash with hot bucket of megs gold & megs wash mitt
4.dry with megs towel
5.megs carbuna wax then wax off DONE!!!
6.turtle wax glass cleaner
7.Megs long lasting tyre gel

& interior I use autoglym cleaning gear

damn, dude lol. that car is f*ckin CLEAN! and, those new mats are pretty nice. no way you could get the oem mats to their original state?

just get the oem matts down the laundrette, then just bodge the eye back into shape with some duct tape on the bottom and a washer to stop it tearing again.. worked on my old matts!

some1 made a thread about how they reconditioned there mats. looked as bad as yours... cleaned them and they loook absolutely mint again

do you find your car stays cleaner for longer with the meg's wax?

I hve used nxt & gold wax but i find the stage 3 carbuna wax gives best results also very very easy to wipe off

I have some friend that spend £££ amount on cleaning products & tell you the truth ive always thought my cars have looked better with far less effort.
You must clay the car though if your paint feel in any way rough. The EK9 paint was like glass straight from japan

And the drivers mat is beyond refurb Its going bald torn & has burn marks Im sure it came out of another car at docks as the other 3 mats are mint

i have same mats as ya bud! got them off ebay to! sound job! as you said, there for your feet! i dont wanna pay 100plus for mats when they look nearly just as nice!!
