A complete overview of the newly-remodelled TYPE ONE tuning shop in Japan. Tatsuru Ichishima, the owner and founder of both TYPE ONE and SPOON Sports, provides a detailed description of current and former car projects. Bonus footage included!

Definitely one of the better/best Interviews regarding Spoon Sports, was VERY interesting in seeing their thought's of the GT86,

Enjoy.

Love how he describes Honda sports cars like racing cars with windshield wipers

Awesome

Nice video, didn't think much of the gt86
He's not a great speaker though
It's good to see that they still have full commitment to the type r/s2000 as they rate them highly

copper grease stuff was interesting, i thought he was advertising it at first lol

Advert for spoon copper grease LOL.

Some prity cool stuff there. Can't help get the biast feeling though.

Anyone else notice He advises to use copper grease on your wheel nut threads?? Allways been taught that as a :nono: . Maybe on a thread that will have a nylock or lock nut on but never wheel nut threads.

I saw it a pretty biased towards the Hondas, do spoon do parts for other cars other than Hondas?
If not then that's why he's preaching Hondas lol

No they dont, At least ive never seen them sell anything specifically for another make.

Intresting what they say about the Hondas conpared to the toyota. Ive always been of the opinion that most modern sports stuf is getting a bit wet.

^ certainly is. It's all about comfort, emissions and cost.
That why we have loads of turbo ff hot hatches flying around. Even honda cheapens out on the suspension of the newer cars IMO, they had to throw everything at the engine to keep up with competition that no money left over for decent suspension setup.

Spoon don't make parts for other manufactures but they do produce rigid collars for many other brands

Problem is "sports cars" are being dumed down alot now, they have to reach such wider audiances and restrictions now a days so can sort or understand what he is saying. He is known for liking VW's too though. Old golfs and current gti's
