Hi guys,

I'm using KW V1 coilovers for now on my EK4 daily drive.
Handling is good but for me it's too hard on our bad roads (combined with the low profile tyres i'm on 205/45R16)!!
As I still have my OEM shocks do you think that if I go to OEM + spoon progressive springs can it can be good for handling and confortable for daily drive?
Also I want to lower it a little bit (as with the KW V1).

With that solution I was thinking that in the future I will be able to replace my OEM shocks with the spoon ones as I will have the spoon spings already.

Or do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks guys!!!

I would look at ek9 shocks with good quality (ie Eibach) springs - will be a good budget upgrade that will still handle much better than the oem ek4 setup

I did something similar (dc2 shocks and Eibach springs) on my eg6 and the difference was very noticeable - easily the best compromised setup I've ever had

EK4 dampers will not control Spoon springs very well, they are pretty stiff as far as springs go, but soft compared to coilovers. EK9 dampers would be better, But Spoon dampers are the obvious best match.

I am thinking seriously on put skunk2 springs in OEM EK9 shocks and skuns 2 camber kit. Great? Reliable?
