I need to know a answer to this question.
On the big brake kit that Spoon Sports sell for the ITR,
What is the size in mm's, is the contact surface....in other words, from the hat to the outside of the rotor.

Also, i heard the calipers Spoon use's are Nissan Z's......is this true?

Spoon calipers are made by nissin.

The part number for the calipers is:

45251-EK9-000

They only fit 5x 114.3 pattern.

305mm/12" Slotted Rotors

RVM, that pic is of a twinblock caliper, standard 282mm diameter discs, 2 piece caliper

If it is the big brake kit then they are just retrofitted dc5/ep3 kits, these use the 1 piece monoblock caliper which is adapted to fit the ek9/dc2.

will need at least a 16" wheel, maybe even 17" because of the size of caliper, to fit the bigger kit

tbh the standard spoon twinblock caliper kit to fit 282mm setups is more than capable especially if you choose some good pads to match, the pads are standard ek9/dc2/nsx sizing

Ok, let me try this one more time.
I know spoon s sell's a set of rotor's that are 300mm by 26mm.
But what i am looking for is the length where the pad sits.

correct me if i'm wrong but does it not just use standard pads? if so just measure them

This is the deal, i did not want to let the cat out of the bag, but what the hell.
I am planing to use the 05 Acura RL calipers on my Ek, but here is the prob.
No one make's a rotor thats 319mm by 28mm with a hat to fit a Honda ITR, + the 5X114.3 lug pattern.
Now, the big brake kit that fits the ITR is very close, the hat is right, its 300mm by 26mm, all i need now is mm on where the pad sits.
The RL's brake pad is 80mm.....thats huge, so if the rotor is good then i can make a kit and maybe turn around and sell it cheap, i have another friend who has a CNC, so i could make a bracket in no time.

buy the pads spoon sells for the rotors and calipers.
google that ****.
i know the online spoon catalogue has the measurements. check that **** out.

yes...

yes:))

16" is ok but ET= OEM-5mm, (I bought 16" with ET 42... so I will see- Im waiting for parts from Spoon)

Disc 300mm/26mm, 5x114,3 is the same like in accord CL7.
