Spoon ECU- Price guide & query

I've seen a few lads selling spoon ecu's for around 300 and they aren't getting anywhere near that (in Ireland anyways) but that's just for the ecu not including a harness. I've been offered a spoon ecu and a harness for my pre-facelift civic and just want to know a few things.

What would be a fair price to pay?

And is it a good mod for an Ek4?
 
Dont touch it.... waste of money, Its like buying an armaini suit and its too big for you, yeh it might look good and you have the name but it doesnt fit you........
Vtec6000 i think can get you an ecu an mapped to suit your car......

Depends on what engine, mods and your budget.

Would say they are a great plug in and play ecu. Transformed my b18c from the std ECU. A decent custom map would be better but cost a bit more.

Certainly not a waist of money. Do a search as there is a back to back comparison with bot b16b and b18c on here.
 
At the moment I just have a full s/s with spoon n1 and mani at the moments its a dc mani but getting a different one in the next two weeks. I have an aem v2 and I have ITR cams to go into the car just waiting for the work to be done
