ek9 bolivia, i know this is old thread, but did you ever manage to know how to ientify the cams?
I asked my self the same question when i bought my cams a couple of months back.
The only marking i fond are the ones in this pic.

Let me know if you have the same or if you ever managed to find that. ive just installed my cams last week.

You can answer vie PM in spanish if you like.

do spoon not just use oem parts. then grind the lobes down a little to hold the valves open a bit longer and also balance them better to. if so it could be very hard to tell the difference as they will have oem codes. thats only if spoon use oem parts tho

Unfortuantly, there are no Spoon Sports identification marks/codes on their Camshafts as you have noticed, the only way of identifying if it is a Spoon Camshaft is by measuring the profile and the lift.

Mid Profile (distance from top to bottom of the profile)

IN: 36.91mm
EX: 36.60mm

Lift (when the valve clearance is 0)

IN: 11.5mm Lift
EX: 11.1mm Lift

Hope this clears it up.

Cheers, Sam.
