This car has been on here before, and I'm still trying to get hold of the guy who had it before the guy I bought it off.
I went 400 miles round trip to get it, mainly as the shell is 99% rust free, although I am having a little water ingress from around the rear arch area. The weather has precluded me from investigating it hard yet.
Currently its got B16b, asd diff, aem V2, spoon rep manifold, carbon kevlar bonnet (I will fit pins in that) uprated driveshafts, short shift, decat and the worlds loudest back box! Also got OEM dampers with Tein springs, unknown rates, though. Got 3 guages and a steering wheel thats not to my taste - Nardi drift, gold spokes.....
Plans are - remove B16 and stick in fettled B18, with full custom exhaust, intake etc etc. 1k old B18 gearbox, sticking to OEM ratios I think (TBC - MAY be reduced FD but longer 5th), ceramic clutch, different diff, uprated discs and pads, new guages, full custom suspension, modelled on the cars weight, then corner weighted with me in...... O and Ima fit a nautilus horn cos they make me laugh.
Already stuck on new wipers (calm down Pants!!) and new headlight bulbs, the headlights need a polish / de-scratch etc (got Meguirs kit and going to watch the vid on here a few times). Looking at this week to fire in new head unit and front components, probably not going to bother fitting rear speakers, not sure, under-seat slimline sub (a little bit of bass fill-in, IF required) and an amp to power it. I MAY look at a set of spoon mirrors - going to use my contacts to see what can be done, and I'm on the hunt for a set of wheels, but from a list of 4. THIS is proving nightmarishly hard.
