So, who uses there Ek9 as there daily...


300whp daily, you cant beet the sound of boost and vtec everyday, its like a medicine for an illness i have ha ha:clap:

that might change when its 500whp!!!!

going on the price of fuel i pay around £1.55.9, but they are doing a deal if you buy 2 cans of red bull you save 5p a litre, with a full tank i only saved £1.31:angry:
 
I don't use mine daily.... Only of its a nice day, il take it to work. Or a good drive.

Got a wee lupo or my dads jeep to kick about in.

I use mine on dry days and week ends now . I have a 106 quicksilver as a daily and to go to work in 20 miles a day , 106 has 130k on so I prefer to just put milage on that

Plus keeps my ek clean it winds me up to fck spending so long cleaning my ek only for it to get blathered in 5 mins if I use in in the wet
 
A few folk commenting on mileage......I don't really plan on selling my 9 so I couldn't care what mileage is on it! Again,thats just me

£1.45 - £1.50.

The ek9 can be run on normal unleaded but will be down on power and poor mileage (ever so slight difference), it has a knock sensor so no damage will be caused.

I however run mine on Vpower religiously :D
 
I used to daily mine, but since the B18 and cage etc etc It just got annoying & Expensive with a 40mile round trip everyday! So now it lives in the garage apart from summer blasts & trackdays! Or the occasional drive just for fun :D
 
I use to have an ITR and I only ever used it on weekends and random occassions. Sold it with low miles and always regretted that I never got the full use of owning the Teg.

With my EK9, it's used as a daily and I feel like I'm exploiting it for full on grin factor. Even when it snowed, changed to my trusty winter tyres, my EK9 is still in use :)
 
daily. 15 miles a day minimum.

stripped, buckets, harnesses, struts, coilovers all the track stuff except a cage n diff.

i love it and would never change it, maybe put normal seat betls back in

my daily 1.4 quicksilver ...needs rear axle lowering though also putting some gti alloys on .its good fun and good on fuel ,looks as good as a gti too

end of the day it's just a honda civic

i use mine whenever i have to, only car i own so regularly drive it to work fully stripped out and caged with a plate diff!

tell me about it .bought it off my cousin .its on g max springs on front .needed a new rear axle so a garage fitted a second hand one

but didnt alter the torsion bar to match the front before fitting

doh !!!

fitted it with standard ride hight
 
My pride and joy is daily. whatever weather it is, my 9 blasts through it and its fun
 
yeh mines my daily.. cant really afford 2 cars, i would if i could! i only drive about 10 miles a day though :p
