sleeved b16 with 85mm pistons over b18

B16A or B16B ?

If B16A i would go for a B17A1 crank + eagle rods + 85 custom pistons. Should be plenty of torque even if not reving as high.

1847cc, R/S ratio = 1.62 (B16A2=1.73 & B18C = 1.57), maximum rod angle = 72.08° (B16A2 = 73.25 & B18C=71.48)

it would of been a b16a as that's what I have at the moment,
as for the rod to stroke ratios I am not familiar with at all, will read in to it though,
is the b17 available in the uk?

B17a1 has only been sold in North America (US & maybe Canada).

You can find it in 90-92 (not 100% sure about it) Acura integra DA but it is a quite rare engine. I found my crank + OEM rods on HT for 400$ shipped to France.

Basically the bottom end is a stroked B16 so it has different Crank, rods & pistons (Just different dome to lower CR). It produces 160Hp like a B16 but 9NM more and has only 9.7CR instead of 10.2CR.
