The flange doesn't need welded once it's bolted to the cat/decat/exhaust that will hold it in place :nice:

We have spoken to Skunk2 regarding this. On a B16a the fitment is fine with very good ground clearance. They said they have them fitted to B18C's in the US, but we have tried two and both didnt clear the sump. We're trying to get to the bottom of this issue and should be fitting to a B18C ourself very soon. B16b is the same as B18c.

Thanks

Should you not be test fitting all these products before actually selling them? It would save all this hassle and i know it would save you customers in the long run plus it would give you pics of the items actually fitted to a car so us as the buyer can see the clearance and how it actually looks... just a thought

Are you serious? We can only go off the information we get given from manufacturers - in this case 'Skunk2' who said it will fit B18C/B16B. These things happen, we'll get it sorted.

Bummer.. Hope you'll get it sorted.
I wanted to buy it myself for a b16a2, but after I spoke to a tuner about it he sead that (they tried the v1 alpha on dyno and measured the AFR) it is to big / too open for the b16 and the engine would run lean.. (With 60mm decat and skunk2 megapower catback 60mm)
At least that's what he sead, so idk anymore.
Does anyone else have experience about this?

I have one fitted to my b18c6. Fits fine on mine?
Is it gen 1 or gen 2 though? Also, please don't try to bypass the 250 post selling rule by selling through your signature.

Its the gen 2, just recently bought it off tegiwa.

Hadnt seen anywhere that said I couldn't put it in my signature. Have removed it.

Any updates on this?
I would buy a Skunk2 Alpha V2 header but I saw on Tegiwa site that it`s "B16A" only. B16A only includes B16a2 or it refers only to B16A SIR engines?
Also, there is no chance to fit a B18C6 or a B18C typeR?

Currently seems that for the B16B and B18C/C6 have clearance issues.

Ive got a spoon sump on mine, standard sump with baffles in. And it fits fine, is great for the price. No clearance problems even with it fitted in a 3G.
Would think I was on commission for this. Want some pictures later on?

Thanks for replies.
@MiRaGe, do you have a B18C6, right? So spoon sump is identical to OEM, but have some baffles inside. In this case, it should fit a B18 with OEM sump as well.

It's a little bit strange, on Tegiwa site it is said that fits "B16A only" and on Skunk2 site it's "for B series".
Now I have an EK4 with B16A2 in , so no problems for now, but I wouldn't buy this manifold and in case of a B18C swap another one needed.
