sjeffs ek, big update!

Nice car mate.
I was wondering how are you going to wire the engine in your car?
Because i wanted to swap a d16z6 in my car (exactly the same d14, obd2b etc...) and i heard that it is really hard because of the wiring..
I would really appriciate if you could do a step-by-step guide (DIY) on how to do this swap?

i bought this engine before knowing how to fix the wiring,
the thing is you have to put an ESI wire in the car it self,
and then you need a swap from obd2b to 1 as far as i know..

but a mate of my wil make the wiring for me,
by using the d16 and d14 engine wire.. and stuf it together!
only need a obd swap, you can bye complete swaps for it

got it for only 150euro plug&play with the wiring,

Ok, thanks.
And if you'll have some spare time, make some photos during the swap and make some photos of the engine wiring :). You'd be a huge help :nice:

i'll make picks of every stap i'm going to take to put it in, and make it word :p

thanks for the nice post's and the intrest :D
rlly apriciate it

finaly got my engine wire back, its now just plug&play for my d16z6 engine swap with p28 ecu

the engine is almost ready to get in the bay, only the airco and power stearing needs cleaning and fresh paint,

plans for next weekend is to get the bay stickerbomb't
hope to find a clear paint thad will ceep the stickers from dirt and water..

:thanks:
So you used the obd2b engine wiring and a obd2b to obd1 conversion with obd1 ecu?
The obd1 sensor clippings are transfered on the obd2b wires?

uhh i don't know, i'd send y engine wire to a tuning shop who fixed it for me,
got it bak with the conversion kit, jist put my p28 ecu on it for the photo..
it is just my d14a engine wire with a v-tec wire in it and some plugs from the d16 engine wire and some mod's to it,

i can't tell you what is done to it, only have the photo's
i'll post more photo's when the engine is in and when i put tje wire in on it

real nice love the wheels and colour! but dislike the stickerbombing but thats my preference its your car after all :)

the engine is in,
bay is fully bombed!

only need to get all the other stuff in,
airco, al parts for cooling and dynamo and engine starter, fuel valve and fuel line,
got to put the wire back on it and its ready to fire it op!

hope the next weekend to finish everithing and get it redy!
