SiR vtec solenoid vs Type R

Is there a difference between a type r vtec solenoid and a SiR one (b series). I always thought they were the same but someone is just after telling me they are not and i cant find anything on google about it?

For a civic their the same EK4 , EK9.

But the integras are different , SiR having the oil pressure sensor on the side (green plug) while the type r doesnt.
