Side marker lights

I have a 1999 DX Hatchback. Red in color. I REALLY want to install the JDM side marker lights on my fenders. I been looking for a while online for a write up or DIY thread. Not sure the measurements for the location or how to wire them up. If anyone can help it would DEFINITELY be appreciated.

recently installed these on my ek pretty simple, its easier with a high powered dremmel. but for help i found this vid on youtube if youre more of a visual learner

Would it not be easier just to get wings with indicators in them..?

wings = fenders?

if so then yeah, but most places that sell them dont come painted to match the rest of the car.
