Hi !

I have a 99 civic hatch with a b16a swap, and the shift linkage is not
the proper one and has been modified to fit.

It was fine until I installed a front swaybar, now it's touching the swaybar when I engaged the 1 gear.

My question is, wich linkage should I buy

- CTR oem 100US
- Si coupe from honda (the cheapest) 70-80US (does it fit, don't see why not)
- Hasport aftermarket 150 US

Thanks

If it was my money.

I would purchase the CTR one IF it comes with the shifter as well.

If not, then I would likely still go for the CTR unit as it is slightly larger in diameter (IIRC) as well and that contributes to a more positive/solid feel.

If at all possible, please measure and confirm this between the CTR and Si/SiR!

Be certain to upgrade if you haven't already, your shifter bushings.

Lastly, you may also want to reinforce the shifter linkage as shown here:

This is actually a Spoon change rod.

I would take it, but I live Canada :D

I think shipping cost would kill the deal...

im in u.k, shipping will be $40 to canada, next day delivery

will sell linkage/shifter for $90 which includes paypal fee

I’ve been thinking about this upgrade dose it make a big difference? And if so in what regard.

If you're talking about the Spoon reinforcement tab, it just makes the shifter feel more direct. Spoon's specialty has never really been all about speed - but rather their reliability and endurance.

They noticed that the shifter would get all "messed up" (midpipe runs directly under the shifter) during competition and this was one of the ways they countered the effects.

To CSB and ICEMAN, sorry for the late response...

I will get my shift linkage from closer around, so go ahead...

Thanks !
