I'm the owner of a pre-face lift ek9 I have ran all checks necessary yet still I can't find out why my car is so slow :

Compression Test
Changed Plugs
Timing Check
Fuel Pressure

You guys catch the drift the problem is when I did the timing check I noticed ignition did not advance when I revved the car. Could this be the computer ?! (stock obd2a ecu) ..... A rapid response would be greatly appreciated thanks

Some videos would help mate, welcome to the forum.

when I get the chance it just feels like something is holding back the car ..... vehicles that shouldn't be keeping up are this is becoming depressing

only code I'm getting is a wheel speed sensor code .... yes I'm getting VTEC car revving kind of slow to me as I said like something is holding it back .... btw I don't have in a cat and I'm running 2.5" piping, where I'm from we aren't to big on emission laws

how can vtec be engaging if you have code for the speed sensor ? that's you problem right there

Has your car been converted to mph, if so check the wiring out on we it has been wired in. I had a similar thing on my teg found a wire wasent connected properly. Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes yo reset the ecu

My error left wheel abs sensor code ..... Had 2 change the speed sensor already since I had the car check engine light came on, no vtec. A friend told me it may be the ecu which I highly doubt but I will try a different one and see .
