S/S manifold and decat

Evenin' all!

I own a 98 EK4 in comet blue and have a password JDM intake and 2.5" cat back "pro-speed" exhaust, i would like a little more power (and noise )
it made 161.1bhp with just the intake and stock exhaust and with the intake and cat back 2.5" S/S system made 169.9bhp I have a craving for a little more power and the raspy decat sound!!!

I cant decide to either to fit just a decat pipe or go the whole hog and get a custom made 2.5" manifold and decat to join streight to my system, im happy with the current power, but will the manifold release a noticable more amount of power? and will it be drasticly louder?

Ya mate you should see a noticeable gain for sure with a manifold and decat!
What manifold is on it now? A ukdm 2"inch is it?
If so youll see big gains with a good 2.5 manifold
Skunk2 alpha,tegiwa or 5zigen all good manifolds for reasonable prices

Yeah just got a standard cast iron ek4 one! thatnks for that mate! il look into manifolds now!!

How about a stock EK9 manifold? they have a 2.5" collector
