Rota slipstreams, what color ?

Hi guys, I decided to buy a set of this 15 x 7 - 5 x 114.3 since its on my budget and its impossible to get 15" 5 x 114.3 wheels at my country and in the USA.

Here is a photo of my car:

I was thinking on buying a flat black set, which the seller has them in stock, but I think a white set might look better.

What do you guys think? What color I should get and what offset?? In a far future I want to install spoon calipers :nice:

Flat black or white. Btw, did you get another ek9? What happened to your red ej6?
 
Exactly the same dilemma as me! So far I'm thinking this:

black = easier to clean and stay clean and look great

White = look great and keep in with the oem style but not so easy to clean.

Decisions decisions!!
 
I think flat black..the famous flat black and white car combo has always worked. White rota's are nice too but i don't think its wise as you wont be moving far from the standard look due to the wheels already being white. When changing wheels it's usually due to you wanting to make your car look better and stand out more. The white on white wont hardly change the look of your car but the black on white will dramatically change the look...and for the better :)
 
You have to think about this, they white of the Rota Slipstream will be a different colour to the white of your EK9 and it won't look right at all. You would have to get them powder coated championship white to look good! BTW I didnt know you bought another EK9 Rvm :)

Yep i have a 2000 ek9 now, and I sold the red ej6! i really miss the gas mileage! :(
 
are you definately getting slipstreams ??

what about gt3's , circuit 8's , attack's or fighter's ?? personally would rather any of these as i think the slip's are a bit common , IMO .

flat black will look better than white though
 
if 15s I'd go flat black

if 16's or 17s I think white would be nice :)
 
Blak Slips look like blac kSlips

White slips look like Regamaster wannabes...If that makes sense?
 
If you wanna copy Desmond, better stick with 15s coz its the closest to the original and IMO flatblack. FYI, SW388 is not flatblack but anodized black green.
