Today I found a site that provides some important info I think to those who need help concerning rims. I've just gone through only once so I missed some of its features for sure.
Some imprortant are: You select you car maker, model, year of production, rims then you click somewhere and the rims selected are automatically fitted on the car. You can also change the color of the car to see how the rims look like on a different color
Unfortunately, not every rim color is shown there but nevertheless, its helpfull enough.
Championship white is missing from the list though, there is only frost white :(
Information also about suspension, brakes etc

Hey rvm, you where right man, these SSR Type C RS are by far the best looking rims I've ever seen and I think the most expensive after Volk Rays

SSR Type C RS painted in gold $ssr_typec-rs_gold_ci3_l.jpg

SSR Type C RS painted in Anthracite!!!!!!! Please click on the image $ssr_typec_rs_anth_ci3_l.jpg

17" SSR Type C RS = $1572

17" Volk Rays = $2348 :nerv: :nerv:

I'm looking for a set in 15" in white! I'm really curious about the weight of each wheel, do you have this info? :woot:

I believe a set of 16" or 17" SSR Type C RS anthracite will be a dream on a white EK9. Think about it before you buy the 15"
The 15" cost around $1200 and they weight just 8.8 lbs!!!???
There are also other info and important recommendations so it would be a good idea to visit the site for which I gave the link above :nice:

i think it depends how low you go, if you lower your car a lot 15" are perfect, if you lower it just a little i recomend 16's only if the tire's you like are available in that size as 16's have less tire options.

ive been looking at the 15" SSR Type C RS painted in anthracite, currently have copies of 16" volk ce28n (not rotas, konig, kei or other stuff you usually see but very good copy made in either singapore or japan i think), weigh 6.2kg

ssr is bust now so harder to get but have friend who has set of 15" white and bronze in stock and says they come from factory that made the ssr wheels but with different stickers for obviuos reasons but also supplies ssr stickers, i think they ek4 fitment though but once i know exact weight ill weigh his on some digtal scales to confirm

i think the ssr 15" weigh 3.94- 4.2 kg but looking for exact weight myself

this site has huge list of wheel, weight and sizes but hasnt been workinh for a while

BOLT PATTERN OFFSET WEIGHT

15x6.5

4/100 +30 3.95 Kg
4/100 +35 3.94 Kg
4/100 +43 3.91 Kg

15x7.0

4/100 +30 4.25 Kg
4/100 +35 4.24 Kg
4/100 +42 4.18 Kg
5/114.3 +42 4.71 Kg B

The tirerack is a very good site for reviews and information on tires and wheels, and its also a good site for buying tires/wheels.
Some of the best color combinations for wheels are only in large sizes however. TypeC rs's arent sold in gold or black in a 15" or 16" by them, and they dont special order. They have volk re-30's, but only in 18. Another let down was they only sell gold enkei rpf1's in 17".
They do however have other color options like 15" and 16" te37's in gunmetal, along with the standard silver rpf1 in 15 and 16", plus the ssr competion's/type c's in all the other colors.

Sorry to hijack this thread. But what do you guys think of these rims?

Im thinking of getting these in white, 15x7J 114.5/+42. Does anyone know how much do they weigh? There's also an issue of identifying originality...

Not really a fan of the SSR, My favourite for the EK would still be Spoon/Evo Regamaster. :)
