It recently got to the point where my N1 was starting to sound like a BC spec2 so thought i would have a go at repacking it.
After opening it up there was next to no packing left, just the metal fibres that cover the baffle.
Got it all packed up ready for welding.
A few tack welds.
All finished with the welds dressed.
All in all im quite happy with the results, its alot quieter throughout the rev range and no where near as boomy. A cheap fix for once
