removing power steering to boost bhp?

So, I have still got mine ps on my race EK9 not sure if to remove it yet. Mixed reviews

Hi Bigskank, I dont really want to get rid of the power steering myself. However, looping the pipe may just get me out of a pickle until I can successfully source a High pressure line for the power-steering.

Looping the lines is a waste of time, you are still pushing fluid around.

Do it right and get the piston seal out of the rack. My car is great with this done.

Yup, this is what Ive done.

Didn't do it for the sake of 4hp though. More for the weight loss and steering feedback is much better.
