Removing mid spoiler!!! Help

Hi guys. I wanting to remove the horrible mid spoiler. Iv not even had a look yet at how to do it prob straight forward but im asking if anyone knows how to anyway? Also dose anyone know how to fill the holes it will leave, done properly or a step by step on how to. Thank you

they are bolted on from the inside, take the trim panel off to access the bolts. Only good way to fill the holes is to weld them, grind them flush then skim them, and paint the tailgate. Youd probably be cheaper getting a non spoiler tailgate from a scrappy and getting it painted instead, will save a few hours bodyshop labour.

Any idea how much a boot lid paint job would cost? Could i not just use a body filler compound? If i had access to a welder i would do the weld and grind myself then get it paintef save buying a boot lid.
