rear wheel arch repair

hi people where in the uk have you got your rusty rear wheel arches replaced?

you can buy them. cut out the rusty arch and weld the new one in and flat and smooth then spray.

Had mind done by a friend in the trade... Auto Weld... He put this zink coated steel in so if the water does get in between its less likey to go again...

Had it painted by P&P motors down here in cardiff...

Hi mate - I'm from Cardiff. Where to is P&P motors as I need my EK3 rear arch sorted as started to go a bit and wanted to catch it before it got too bad!! Did you get yours done for a good price then?? Cheers

Hi mate...

Yeah its in Landaff north... thats the guy that did my paint for me... he does me a good deal as i send all my paint jobs to him that we get in to my garage..

But ur welcome to giv him a try...

ive just bought a 1995 vei civic and needing to replace my rear arch, the replacements are on ebay for roughly 30quid a side..

I wana know how hard they are to replace because i can weld and good at bodywork so is it worth trying yourself??? anyone out there done it???
