Rear number plate holders

You know the two plastic bits that hold the plate on the rear? One of mine has snapped off when a mate slammed the boot:(

Do I have to buy a whole new number plate surround?
 
yep, unless it can be neatly glued!

But any EK hatch one will fit, it will just need spraying.

And something as small as that, that is actually mainly hidden from the plate, would be OK to spray with a can.

But not a very common thing to request, so try all the people that are breaking EK9's at the moment! ;)
 
Any EK one will fit.

The EK9's have it with the 2 plastic slots in them, but the others don't.

If you want the slots, get one from a 9, if you aren't that bothered, any EK hatch one will fit.
 
Tempted to snap the other one off and touch them both up. It's £60 ex. VAT from Honda for the new surround :\
 
I have the same problem on mine to n i really want it fixed lol Do they come ready painted from honda?
 
Mine were broke and I got a 2nd hand surround in perfect nick for €30:D

Tim surely your mate that snapped it off will atleast pay for some if not all of that ?

No. He didn't do it on purpose. I haven't even told him he did it.

I've snapped the other side off and touched it up, looks fine:)
