Rear diffuser, how would you have it??

So fitted rear diffuser today.
Not sure if I want to sit it higher up or not.
What would you do?
Here's a picture




So I'm thinking maybe lift it up into the recess of the rear lip and cut the edges around it, then a hole for the exhaust to sit in the diffuser.

A flat floor isn't going to be too hard to fab up.

I do what ever I like to. What works for me may not work for you, or maybe it would?

Yeah it all works together, but money drives that too, right?

Just do a diffuser, rear wing, front splitter and no flat under body.

Would you tuck it right up Intp the rear lip? I think I might do that. Looks alittle out of place ATM.
 
Leave it hanging out the rear.

under body issue with me is all the work if you catch something while driving, will it destroy fuel lines? brake lines? Also how easy will it be to replace or repair? Its just tooo much to go wrong if things were to go wrong.
 
Sorry I'm not explaining very well,
Would still hang out, would just sit further up to the bumper.
Suppose I could always find a replacement lip easy enough.

Your pic looks about right. Are you thinking about taking the rear lip off? I would take it off to allow the rear diffuser to angle up more. But thats me.

That's basically what I mean. Same position outward, just upward and cut the lip to fit around the diffuser.
That will give me the angle and gets rid of the eye sore that is the gap it has ATM.

If your going to hack your rear lip buy a cheap copy and hack that be cheaper than buying another oem.
 
Got it sitting abit higher. Not sure if too high now lol I can still adjust downward alittle as it pinches the bumper abit ATM.
Can also slide it back but I prefer the full outward look lol







My drive drops off a lot so makes the diffuser angle look much more than it is. Will see what it looks like on flat ground before I do anymore with it.
 
I'm going to paint the rivets tops black just to help hide them. Depends on the height against the ground for me. Looks really high ATM but the drive does dip quite abit.
