Hi guys,

Item for sale: ford racing puma
Condition: banbury, oxfordshire
Mileage: 83k

My love of Hondas us still around and ive decided to go back to one sooo.. FRP 159 has to go. I dont know how familiar everyone is with the frp but ill try and give you brief idea.

Only 500 were ever made, they are based on the original 1.7ltr puma but after being built in standard form they are taken to tickfords in coventry to be stripped down and re worked, the following work is carried out:

Revised front and rear bumpers, wider front and rear track and driveshafts with widend arches (very wide arches lol) the gear box is re worked using shorter 1st 2nd and third and a lonher final drive. The engine is remapped to 155bhp using forged pistons etc and rebuilt then fitted with a janspped 4-1 manifold and 100cell sports cat. Larger throttle body is fitted along with a cold air feed for the filter.
One off 17inch speedline alloys are fitted onto eibach springs and dampers with larger discs front and back with alcon 4pot calipers.

The interior is re trimmed with alcantara and sparco buckets are then fitted. The car is then re sprayed in ford racing blue. These cars retailed at 24k when new!!

Mine has full piper system fitted which sounds immense, on over run it crackles like my mates old group n rally car!

Its been very very well looked after with a massive stack of receipts in a folder. The cambelt and water pump and related parts have been changed by pumabuild which are a respected ford tuning company in the midlands (receipts to prove)
New brakes all round have been fitted and the seats have been replaced for brand new ones that now are no longer being made so they are literally spotless.

The car comes with:

Air con
cd/mp3 player
factory alarm
sparco pedals
fsh from new
A box with loads of spares in it
Electric windows and mirrors
heated front screen (this is awesome, no more waiting for screens to clear)

The paint work is very good, no dents or marks and its washed every week using only good quality products.

The chassis on this car is regarded to be one of the best ford produced, it really is mega fun to drive

Im pricing the car at £5500 for a quick sale as the car I want probably wont be around for much longer.

Please contact me on 07584 306885 because im not always by the computer

Any questions please ask,

Thanks for looking boys and girls

thanks mate :) im reducing the car to £5400 now, its not going any lower though

nice motor mate GLWTS and what car you after now bud

fingaz crossed for you mate hope all goes ok

price now reduced to 5k and it went through its mot yesterday with no probs at all

to be honest i would say the 9 was slightly quicker.. but the handling of an frp is unreal, i would struggle to catch it on a b road in my old dc2. Its a very very planted car, the turn in response in spot on. I would think a 9 would struggle to shake and FRP, but i dont really want to start a debate boys n girls.

nice car man always liked them. look so mean.

its mad how ford put in forged pistons and remapped the engine and larger throttle bodie and its 1.7 and they still only got 155bhp. lol just shows that honda rule the road when it comes to engineering.
