first of all hello everyone i'm new !
i've sold my old 205 rally car and am about to build a civic rally car, but as money is tight does anyone know if the ek4 3 door shell is the same as an ek9 shell ?
i allready have an engine, throttle bodies, loom, dogbox with plate diff, so my options are buy a cheap high mileage road car(seen an auto for 600 pounds) and use this shell, or do i have to use an ek9 as theres too much difference ?
what other parts will i need to make it into an ek9 apart from stuts, calipers, steering rack ?

is the suspension setup the same ie same hubs, suspension arms, tca's etc
brake servos ?
engine mounts on the shell ?

any advice would be very helpfull, just trying to find cheapest option, being a tight git !!!!

cheers guys

keep me up with that if u get more info... im interested in rally ek9 as well due to hard rought road where i live :(((

EK4 Civics are a common in taiwanese and hong kong rallying (since they don't have genuine EK9 overthere) and their results are one of the best among there.
No the shell of EK4 and EK9 are not the same, EK9 has a lighter but stiffer body.
