On my dials the temperature guage is always in the middle. even when the car is not warmed up. its been their for the past week. what could it be a faulty sensor?

Yep, specially if you have a aftermarket one, I had a problem with a Spoon one, I replaced it and problem solved. :nice:

Check if the temp sender plug hasn't come loose from the sensor on the head, its under the distributor, single wire.

This is very important also, thanks for the info :nice:

sorry for saying guage as it might have confused you. it is not a after market one is the oem one on the actual cluster/dials. i will see if i can push that wire in and see if it works

i tried pushing the sensor/sensors in more and took them out and put them back in but no diffrence. when ignition is off its at the bottom like normal when i turn ignition on its in the middle. Do you think i need a new sensor? also does this effect how the car works? e.g. the car things the tempreture fine even tho it could be overheating so radiator fan aint kicking in? the radiator fan kicks in every like 10 mins for about 20 seconds and then goes off. i never seen it go longer then that

I would change that sensor asap mate!
As you say could lead to over heating probs.
once you have changed the temp sensor, if the fan keep's coming on then you need to look at your thermostat too!:secret:
