Anyone know if you can do it? I have looked around and everyone says you can't. But, I got one sent to me from Japan a few weeks ago just in some cardboard and bubble wrap.

rightly or wrongly I posted one out on ebay a few years back. just well wrapped and boxed and posted royal mail standard parcel. I wouldn't send one overseas unless you cab guarantee it will be going on surface mail though.

Fair enough, mite have to just do that then. It's not like they go off when you're driving over a bumpy road so can't see it being a huge problem. Cheers.

I sent a ford focus steering wheel with a airbag using paisley freight, had no issues at all!

How would the airbag go off by itself? There would be no power going to it. It's not as though an impact on the actual wheel sets it off it's the sensors. Anyone ever hear of one going off by itself not connected to anything??

Should post it connected to a power source to make sure it's handled properly. That'll teach them not to throw packages about.

Don't know, but there must be a reason why almost all couriers list them under prohibited items.

Its just due to them having a explosive charge, and possible risk of being set of by a static discharge.
