mine never look the same. one of the end plugs, forget which, but one is always cleaner/leaner than the others. will post pics later.

I am running these for 15 Months, the first one looks like it has the fish sickness which they call "ick"

The white color thing on the plug do not seems to be burning correctly

new plugs with almost 900km on them with my old tune/tuner/set up.
pulled these after normal driving between 2000-3500rpms

What experts think on these ??

imo there is some kind of detonation-preignition and these are running rich ??

Knock appears in the forms of black dots on the porselan iirc.

''The porcelain shows up pre-ignition and detonation (timing/octane). It will not accurately reveal jetting/air/fuel ratios. To look for the first/beginning signs of detonation, search the white porcelain for tiny black specks or shiny specks of aluminum that have fused to the porcelain. When detonation occurs, part of the air/fuel mixture explodes instead of burning, the explosion is heard as a "metallic knock", this audible knock is the result of a sound shock-wave...''

Reading Spark Plugs Correctly

so there can be black spots or shiny spots too.

can anyone tell me what they think of these they have around 2k on them just had a remap done ... i'm thinking the remap is crud ...

White plugs are usually running too lean, could be caused by a vacuum leak also.

It could also be the wrong heat range plugs :)

If you want to check the plugs at WOT then shut the engine off when your at the top of the rev range, or there is no point checking them, as the ECU is in closed loop mode.
Not really much point checking them when the engine has just idled?

Should you still do this even if the plugs have a few thousand miles on them at various rev ranges?
