Im still looking for a header for my civic em1 do u think guys this one is good
i had a look on honda tech website some people say its good some of them say the welds aren't great im confused i know that 98 spec itr is a good one but my car is low and the roads where i live aren't great so maybe i was thinking more like 4-2-1 any info u can give me experts...

Might be the same as I run on mine, good quality and fitment.

Used to run a tegiwa/yonaka header and now I realise how rubbish it was.

The h-tune header has loads of clearance, one of the main reasons I went for it was I didn't want to mod my gearbox brace like you have to on some 4-2-1 designs.
They're on offer now as well if you're quick enough.

I cant say anything about the 4 2 1 header but I got the 4 1 header and wasent impressed with the welds at all.

However I did send them a email with pics and they said to fit the manifold and if it fails then I have a years warranty and they will ether send a new one or pay me back...

Noticed a very big difference, one of the main ones was noise. The h-tune was quieter with a de-cat than the yonaka with the cat fitted.

At the time when I bought the yonaka, tegiwa claimed it was a good manifold.

Could you use some punctuation please? would make the text much easier to read. :thanks:

It was 'ok' for the money... what did you pay £200?
Also it was at a time when very little was out there. Our TEGIWA 4-2-1 didnt exist, the PLM didnt exist and the Skunk2 Alpha didnt exist.

Thanks

Was £280 at the time, more than a 98 spec which I was told it would 'out-perform'

Anyway back onto the plm, send Scott a message and see what stock he has left, might be lucky and get one.
