Does this cover you for the full year?? How does it work?? I got a quote on a dc2 for jst over £1000 :nerv: Tried calling them but can't get through to them.

You wont be able to call, it's all online. Payg policies with them quote monthly price, I ve used them twice before

im sure the insurance company fits a device in to your car, , how does that work?

Ive used ecar a couple of times ... you have short term (1-28 days) and pay as you go (month at a time)

really easy and simple to use, I pay £140 a month, im only wanting it for one month so when you want to cancel it ... you cancel it just before the end of that month, if you let it go over the month, ecar will assume you want to keep the policy going for another month and automatically take out another £140 (which is all good providing you want to keep it insured!)........ its handy for starting and stopping the policy whenever you want. You get issued a valid certificate of insurance at the start of each month you have it insured.

yeah as said before, its all online .. best to email. And no, they dont fit anything to the car. You get a quote, buy it, scan your driving licence and paper, send it to them, get your insurance certificate, print it out ........... and away you go!

How old are you mate?

They have age restrictions aswell on high performance cars.

Spot on, I had this on my old coupe.

im pretty sure you have to be 25 to get the short term insurance .......... but for the pay as you go monthly im near positive its 17.

I used them twice on a Pay As You Go policy, once at 19 years old and once at 20 years old. A lot of short term places are 21 plus or 25 plus yeah.
