My pressure gauge stopped working. It still lights up but the needle sits at 0.

Is there any way of testing the sensor whilst it's off the car? All the connections seemed fine so I think it's this thing that's faulty.

They're only cheap so I could buy a new one but I really wanted to get it sorted over this weekend.

Cheers.

Check your connections are ok either end of the gauge.
You'd expect it to be intermittent if it was a connection though so...

I decided I couldnt trust my gauges.

Turning headlights on changed oil pressure by 7psi. Bullshit.

Just been fitting my new Stack gauges - and surprise surprise my oil pressure at idle is 8-9 psi higher than the shitty Autogauges rubbish.

Stack are about £50/gauge but its worth it so you van believe the damn things.

No idea how good these stri gauges are think they cost me 45 per gauge. Only went for them as a local tuning garage sold them and fitted them and I was impatient. I want some of those AEM digital ones bit they're a bit dear.

Will have a look at those stack ones as I may need a new one anyway. How much of a pain was feeding the wires through the firewall?
