Would anyone know if the EK9 exhaust system would bolt on to an EJ9 cat?

No won't fit without modification as the jdm ek9 cats are shorter by around 3". UK cats are 17" jdm are around 14"I think.
 
So if I get the EK9 catback and get a jdm cat, that still won't fit into an oem EJ9 manifold collector right?
