Odd clunking and knocking noise from the car

Hi all,

Recently, I noticed that when I was reversing my EJ9 and braked, there was a really odd "clunk" noise when the car came to a stop. This kept happening everytime I reversed, but stopped when it was from a standstill.
The clunking got worse over the weeks and now its really noticable and sort of sounds like a clunk, knock and snap all together. The noise comes from the front of the car so Im assuming its the brakes. Pads were replaced just under a month ago, and the noise is getting worse and im just concerned it might be something thats broken

Installed my Jordan wheels on there a few days back and now the clunking comes when I brake normally going forwards too

sounds like a cv joint?

I got this sort of noise and it ended up being my front caliper seizing, if you take the wheel off, and shake the caliper whilst on the car, if theres any movement, then you know its the caliper, I am doing a 282mm conversion anyway so its all good.

i would check the calipers bolted together properly and fastened to the hub as well
