O2 sensor, New cat, HELP please!

Hi all,

I put a post up asking about how many O2 sensors the ek9 has. I have bought a cat to put on and it has the opening for a sensor (I've been told this is the only sensor the ek9 has)

However,cars up on the jack now and have just discovered a sensor in the downpipe just after the manifold.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

If both sensors needed,where about does the one for the cat connect up to?
