Been on the forum a little while now but never got round to posting a build thread so thought i would finally make an effort.

I bought the car about four years ago a totally standard EJ9 with 47,000 on the clock. As usual I had big plans but progress was slow for a year as I was a poor student.
Here is some pictures when I first got her.

The car was very clean to start with so I then started to save for wheels and meister r coilovers at the same time adding a few cheap but subtle changes along the way. Such as spoon socks and painting the rocker cover.

The day finally came when I had saved enough to get the coilovers and wheels and I decided on sprint wheels sw96 as they would fit my standard 4x100 stud pattern while giving me the oem look I was after. This was the result;

I also added at this point function 7 lca's.

I then started to add a few little parts over time and enjoy the car for what it was. Got a Skunk 2 gear knob a genuine Honda stitched gaiter to match.

Also genuine EK9 grille supplied by Lings.

Then started collecting more bits to get the suspension to where I wanted it.
So along came EK9 anti roll bars and Buddyclub rear camber adjusters.

As time went by I continued to add more parts when I could added an ASR rear subframe brace in preparation for the new arb.

Also so added a front lip and import number plates to finish of the front end for the time being.

A picture of it all coming together.

So after this things were starting to get serious as I now was no longer a student and could finally get things done. The car went into storage over winter and I got myself a daily driver. Then I started buying parts. Took a trip up to Hond-r to pick up the new engine.

98 Spec B18C! Always wanted this and finally got there as well as this picked up a whole load of parts to do the conversion. Including driveshafts, EK9 throttle cable, ECU, shifter linkages and clutch line. As well as this decided I was going to get a few other parts while the engine was out and easier to work on.

Started with service parts.

Also engine loom and new radiator were needed.

Then for some more interesting parts. I decided to go with a competition clutch stage 2 and lightened flywheel.

Also new Honda engine mounts along with innovative mounts. Magnecor HT leans and de cat pipe.

I then purchased a DC sports four to one manifold which was not my first choice at the time but for the money the best option plan is to later change it for a Today manifold when money permitting.

Also exhaust wise at the time I thought it would be a great idea to buy a Buddyclub spec 2.

This was fun for about a year and now just annoys me with the loudness occasionally putting a smile on my face. Hopefully will be changed soon for a more subtle system.

After this the usual work took place and few pictures below.

The final result with the added AEM V2.
Was so happy with the results at this point and just enjoyed the car for what was left of the summer.

I then got back finally to the suspension and brakes and started to collect more parts. This included front Buddyclub camber adjusters.

EK4 rear trailing arms in order to do the rear disc conversion.

EK9 steering rack and subframe.

Energy suspension bush kit, buddy club bottom ball joints, new track rods and track rod ends, Hardrace rear trailing arm bushes and toe arms.

I then sorted the brakes out with EK9 1'' master cylinder, 282mm front discs with ITR callipers and on the rear MG ZR 260mm discs and callipers with Goodrich braided hoses.

I then went about stripping everything down ready to be powder coated and at the same time saw this as an opportunity to under seal the car.

Parts back form powder coating.

The under seal I decided to use.

I then went about build the suspension back up cleaning and replacing bearings etc as I did.

A days fitting with this been the end result.

I then stumbled across a bit of a problem when I came to the back and that was I couldn't find handbrake cables. Stupidly cutting mine off when stripping parts down assuming the would be readily available. Not been able to find any and at risk of missing all shows the car went like this to JAE. I am now in the process of completing the rear trailing arms having found cables for this year.

Apologies for the amount of pictures but trying to summeries the last four years without copy and pasting was a bit of a pain. Hopefully some updates soon.

Some serious work gone in to this, looks awesome dude :nice:

Makes me miss my vsm b18 turbo ej9 :(

Thanks for the comments still enjoying the car so hopefully lots more to come.
