Nicole's turbo black ek9

Look forward to seeing the bay. Im a sucker for a nice clean, tidy and simple bay. You got a time scale for this being all finished up?

it's booked in for exhaust the first week on February! :/ I honestly dont think Im gunna make it now, but we'll see
The build's slowly getting bigger and more and more out of control lol
Taking it apart's been dead simple, but now I'm redoing all the brake lines, relocating fuel filter, battery etc. Taking everything out the bay meant draining power steering and everything...Not really sure what my plan is with the wiring yet either.
Hopefully get the engine built up by end of October and be nice to have the car back from paint around then too.
Want everything bought and here and ready to go on before the biggest part of the builds purchased so god knows how I'm gunna make February lol :(

coming along nicely, it pays just to double check, could have been so much worse if the crank went back in like that, maybe that explains the power loss

Yeah its a pretty extensive build.... just take your time. Plenty folk on here that can guide you through bits and pieces as well. Be good to see this all 'finished' up.

So the car's gone off for to the bodyshop this week :D

Nice update! You get all your oem parts from an ek9.org member or local dealer?

Lol @ dishwasher usage

Nice new parts! Cooler looks good :)

You tried getting prices from honda on Scotswood road? 9/10 he was able to beat prices on Oem parts from other places ;)

Manager in service department is called Steve Moody.

Cant believe thats his surname! how relevant lol - I've always found him a misery to deal with and I have to pretty much beg for any discount, which I never get. He must've liked you

Love what your doing with this car, seen it a few times when john had it. Was always a cracking car and just getting better all the time now

I'm getting together many of these parts too...but mine will look scruffy (yet functional) which seems to be my 'thing'.

I just recieved my copy of "How to rebuild hond b series engines" - its a bit simple for me TBH but a good read nonetheless so far.

Got the same book. Is ok for a rough process, I'm using the interweb for the rest, is just another engine end of the day so measureing and assembly is the same really. Just what your measureing to obviously lol
I'm all in for the "tatty" look aswell, afew bumper scuffs never hurt anyone lol

Haha...do you have the unshaven/oil marks on jeans/holes in socks to back it up?

;-)

Wish I could grow a beard tbh. 24 years of age and all I can grow is a slightly 14yr old dirtbag tash lol
Oil marks on sports direct joggers but draw the line at holes in the socks lol
