Yo folks,

Travelled to Tewkesbury to get this truck , the week before I went to Evesham to view another which was rough and not described in truth .

It's a 1989 mk1 caddy pick up with no modifications at all . A solid base with no rust or rot and a healthy 1.6d engine with 76k . Plan in a full spray , ats classics , flipper rear axel , coil overs , Porsche seats and buy a 250 kx for back .

I have one of these just finishing a bare shell restoration on it at the moment, was supposed to be a quick job as it wasn't to bad but it's turned into a 1000+ hour job,

Really , What issues did you come across ? I've had mine up on ramp and it's very solid

Well it was tatty but overall seemed solid after I pressure washed it and got it over the pit, that was untill I started removing the factory sealer and revealed the metal work had just rusted under the sealer all over the place, after lots of time sandblasting and welding it's looking good again!

May put up some pics and a little build thread if your interested?
