New Owner

Hi guys I recently acquired my first car which happens to be an ek9 but it has some issues any advice would be greatly appreciated btw I'm from Barbados.
I'm getting VTEC but as soon as it crosses over the car starts to sputter with WOT, if I progressively go down on the accelerator it revs right out clean can anyone give me an idea of what can be causing this .....

Stock B16b
Stock ECU
Stock Injectors
Denso Iridium Spark Plugs 7's

Welcome, Have you checked oil level? maybe check the fuel filter? when was it last serviced?

I serviced it as soon as I got it plugs, oil, new oil filter. Could it be the distributor or tps ? .... Trying to avoid buying parts I don't need and trying to solve this problem my self last resort would be a mechanic .
