I really need help luking for a new job and was wondering if anyone on the forum could help me.
I was made redundant last month :( had worked in the garage trade for 2 and a half years and have got quite alot of experience within the car trade and have got my level 1 motor vehicle qualifications from college.
Im now looking for a new apprenticeship im in glasgow but havent found anyone able to take me on or what funding is available towards one and really need help if anyone in glasgow in the garage trade that would be able to give me a job or take me on as an apprentice would be great.
I am into my jap cars and obvs love hondas and would love something in the performance side of the trade or would even like to be taken on as a panel beater apprentice.
so if any lads could help me would be great. :nice:

unlucky with the redundancy. hard looking for jobs nowadays. there are jobs out there but most are reluctant to hire :\ good luck in finding what you are looking for though

from my experience of it... apprenticeships in the motor trade suck!. i wouldn't wish my experience of it on anyone. and that was with bmw dealers. crap pay and what they promise as far as wages when you start is total bollocks. main dealers ='s steer clear unless your prepared to hate it. £2.20 an hour for my first year and 55 miles a day to and from work.. spent the first 3 years washing cars... pricks
