First off let me list my setup as it stands right now.....

92-95 JDM H22
H22 Type-S cams
Stock valvetrain "for now"
intake manifold is a re-worked oem h22 manifold...can be seen here @ modified oem H22 intake manifold - Honda-Tech
77mm DH-Racing Throttle body
550cc precision injectors
3-3.5" velocity stacked intake
RMF H2B header w/3" 3 bolt flange style
3" full exhaust all mandrel bent steel straight piping to a Flowmaster style turbo muffler
QSD H2B kit
Exedy Twin Disc Clutch
98 USDM ITR tranny w/ OEM 4.7 Final Drive
Hondata s300
AEM Wideband O2
Hasport Motor Mounts 80a

Really hoping to make a minimum of 210whp...but truely looking for 220whp, my goal @ the moment is to make as much power as possible with just good bolt-ons and type-s cams and a good tune...ive done reaserch on h2b's for a long time and ive seen guys make the power im looking for with a much cheaper header and stock cams but as i said im looking to see what you guys think ? incase anyone is wondering the swap is going in a "01" Type-R .

Sounds like a great spec, im not and expert so wouldnt want to guess what WHP you would make.

One thing though you cant have us all wondering what it looks like put up some pics asap m8.

Think the reason the guys have been hitting 200 WHP is the fact that our resident Mad scientist Will is just a dam good tunner and knows his ****.

Love the job you done on the manifold nice attention to detail.

+1, sounds good........but if you live in the U.S., you do know droping a older year motor in your newer year body car is illegal.

I dont care, but i hope your never get pulled over.

What was the situation with the original motor in your ITR?

Sure, it doesn't pass inspection, but if you can get it past inspection with friends or shady inspectors you're fine.

Im from Boston, MA.....And i dont know where ur from but pretty much EVERYONE in the US drops motors from a variety of years into pretty much any car .....thats like you saying that someone with a 2001 Ford F150 blows his motor and gets a 98 F150 motor from the junkyard and puts it in...Now its Illegal..????? The idea is to make them run whatever OBD system your car is in order to pass inspection ....then from there pretty much ANYONE that uses Aftermarket Engine Management goes back to OBD1 !

And as far as what happened to my Original Type-R motor....It was perfectly fine w/only 67k.....Just wanted something different w/more displacement......

Im gonna try and get some pics soon....

2001 EK9 or is it an EP3?

because to be honest, removing either the B16b or the K20 for a H22 is a fairly bad idea IMO

I Own a USDM ITR DC2-R

And as far as the H22 it is the most slept on motor in the whole honda game...it has far more potential in stock-form than a B-series motor....The most power that ive ever seen outta an "STOCK INTERNAL" B18C5 Type-R motor in the states...with a Great header/intake/exhaust was 185whp....W/good tuning... And an H22 w/ "STOCK INTERNALS" with a Great header/intake/exhaust...was 220whp....W/good tuning.....which in fact is super comparable to the K20-R which w/ the same Great header/intake/exhaust has made 230-235whp w/good tuning...!

B18c5 -R......185whp w/Low 14x ft/lb Torque
JDM H22.....220whp w/Low 16x ft/lb Torque
K20-R.....230-235whp w/Low 16x ft/lb Torque

All of the above w/ A REAL HEADER...RMF/HYTECH/SMSP...etc..
w/ ENGINE MANAGEMENT...HONDATA S300/AEM/NEPTUNE..etc

The other thing besides the H22 being the most slept on motor outta the Honda Game is that the H22 Transmissions SUCK .....cable shifting/crappy gearing...etc.. So when you mate the B-series Transmission which threw everything i have even seen throughout the years is the BEST transmission EVER produced from HONDA even over the K-series tranny which starts breaking @ around 250whp...ALL MOTOR...K-series tranny's cant hold the power/abuse and the 3rd gear is the first 2 go then 2nd.... but back to what i was saying When you mate the H22 w/220whp + 16x ft/lb of torque to a Beautifully geared Type-R Tranny B16b/B18c w/either a 4.4 or 4.7 FD it creates a monster setup that has a virtually unbreakable all-motor tranny w/perfect gearing and rod shift linkages as opposed to the H22 cable linkage and crappy gearing !

Nice set up mate! Get some pics up :) I personally think the H22 is too front heavy.

And again thats where people are wrong.....An H22 swap compared to a B18-R swap weighs 70lbs. /29kg more...but when you swap it over to a B-series tranny you are cutting that 70lbs / 29kg down even more...when its all said and done its not that big of a difference...

Ah didnt think of that way mate! just I have driven a few preludes/accords in my time and they all seem too heavy! bogged down. they would be rapid in a smaller shell! Keep us updated dude! :)

And the difference is Putting an H2B making 220WHP / 16x ft/lbs of Torque w/ Type-R Gearbox + 4.7FD w/LSD in an EK/EG/DC/EF Makes a Monster setup...Compared to having it in a Prelude/Accord w/H22 Tranny+Crappy Gearing in a Much Heavier Vehicle!!

There a people in the states w/ EG's that weight 2,200 lbs....w/215WHP H2B's on Slicks Running 11.9 / 12.0 In the Quarter Mile. ---->STOCK MOTORS<----- For an example...
