Hi All thought id throw up few quick pics of my latest car. Not new to the honda scene at all and i currently live in Australia and moving home at xmas.
I have a very good friend at home who imported this very clean Autonatic Ek4 Sir 3 oor civic about 4 years back. He like it so much he kept it and then decided to sell it to his sister in law (older & mature) who looked after car very well until i decided to buy it kinda spur of the moment as she needed a 4 door car.
Long story short i drove this for 2 weeks before i got a flight back to Australia and the car is stored now and parked up. It originally came in with few nice touches like coilovers, exhaust and volk te37s which my friend stupidly sold before giving to his sister in law.
So over the last 6 months i have been buying parts in japan and shipping them home waiting to be installed.
Spec as follows:
-96 JDM EK4 rare Automatic version
-130k odd
-Full Sir extras including yellow foggys and lips.
- Bilstein coilovers
- unknown catback exhaust to be swapped for spoon street
-Unknown Volk 15" wheels to be swapped for 96 dc2 wheels
- Stupidly small momo wheel to be swapped for s2000 wheel
-rear tints
- mid spoiler
- Top of the range alarm
So parts I have gathered so far:
- Spoon Street axleback echaust
- RSR 4-2-1 manifold
- 2 x Recaro SR2 Confetti or Le Man as proper name and ek9 recaro rails.
- S2000 Ap1 steering wheel
- 2 x 96 Dc2 itr alloys need 2 more and then conversion to follow.
- facelift EK9 rear lights
- Mugen airbox (hopefully purchasing tomorrow).
I really want to keep this car clean and simple how it show have left the factory and as its an Auto it will just be a daily cruiser.
I originally thought id colour code the bumper strips but am liking the black on white look. Itr wheels will be done gunmetal and there will be no type r parts or have it like a replica etc. I want it to be an Sir and stand out from typical red recaros and red badges everywhere.
Next on the list is mugen airbox and 2 more dc2 alloys and rear ek9 black seats
So what you guys think? Any suggestions positive or negative.
Thanks
