Hi guys, been away for a while but i have managed to find the ek9 i've been waiting for, here's some picture, pick it up in three weeks time

thanks guys, sorry dont have any engine picks at the moment but will post when i get them, completely standard 58k on the clock, unmarked grade 4.5

Lush black ek mate, where did you get it from, swear i've seen it some where for sale???? might be wrong..

I got it from a place called keighley in Yorkshire. They have plenty for sale up there but the black one was the best example i could find! :nice:
 
First theres drive-it's black ek9, and now this very nice silver one. Congratulations. I think silver is even more rare than black/?

Yes, the silver EK9 is the rarerest of all and the white is the most common. I'm not sure about the other two, but I believe black comes second and then yellow :)
 
nice car mate i was looking at it on autotrader a few weeks ago., how much did you knock them down?

very very nice if i had the money i would have gone for it myself, fair play,

thanks for all your comments guys, i knew that back ek was from torque, been for sale for abit now, glad it has a new owner that can vtec the cobwebs off now :lol:

Yeah payed £6700 including under body sealing so i think i got a good deal.

hope i dont miss my ep3 with the mighty k20 lump to much theo, i think the b-series sound and vtec cross over more aggressive......not so refined i believe might be the word!

Bingo....how did you guess??? yeah joe's the man im dealing with at the moment. he's still sorting my ek9 out before i can collect and legally drive it in the uk.

Had no problems with him so far......very reasonable and honest person my first impressions were, All i had to do was place £250 deposit after i test drove the car and pay the rest on collection, even made me and my partner a cup of tea before we departed. He runs his own company, most of his cars are at his nice house, get three months warrenty with all cars, 12 Months MOT, 6 Months tax and under body sealing at an agreed price we made.

At the moment i cant fault him, think he has a 1998 white ek9 with 58k on the clock for sale at the moment for £6.999

EK9 was made for pure racing aggressive hot hatch

As for the EP3 it was made for more comfort and refined performance with the new i-vtec, still a fun and fast car to drive theo.......so glad i have some video's to look back on :)

its the white one i will be after so sooner i get rid of my astra the better, spoke with joe several times seems a tidy chap.

sorry i know because i was gonna go see but sale of mine fell through and im not far away only bout half hour drive
