Hey guys,

I've put a deposit down on this pre-facelift Arctic Blue DC5 from Torque GT, hoping to get it this weekend. I was after a NHB DC5 initially but I really like this, looks in great condition for it's age and Darren at Torque say's it drives really well too and will be like driving a Maybach in comparison to my stripped EK9 ha ha!

Car Details - Honda Integra Type R Arctic Blue | Torque GT

I've never driven one before but I'm really looking forward to getting it. Darren has been brilliant and from what I've read they seem to be really sound guys. There are hardly any DC5's round my way, the same with EK9's so it will be good to have something a bit different.

Have no immediate plans for it for now, it's pretty much standard apart from the exhaust and the Tein's. Have been advised to get a K-PRO ECU but I'm going to stick the £600 on a TRACKER instead in case some sneak thief nabs it.

Hope you like it chaps.

Nice one !
You will love it mate , I just bought a black one on Monday . It's the best Honda I've had yet .
Good luck with it !

Dc5 are really nice i have had to, low end torque is mental very comftable. Bad things i found is alot of torque steer and compared to the ek9 the handling is poor from stock or on coilovers. It needs alot of braces to compenstate tbh.

I've read that they are a lot more refined than an EK9.

Mine has strut braces so should help somewhat. What about a stiffer ARB would this help with the handling and torque steer do you think?

Cheers.

Nice to see you've got a DC5,

I'd recommend changing the power steering fluid as soon as you get it, feels epic after and will make the car drive like new! Easy to do aswell.

If you're not already, get yourself onto itr-dc5 alot of lads on it to give you good advice and guidance if you get stuck!

i had one before my ek9 with a good spec, you wont be dissapointed, its the perfect step up from the ek9 (im going backwards). get your rear arches undersealed its the first place they usually rust! alot more modern, more comfort, nicer to drive without reving the brains out of it and yours looks like a very tidy example :)
