MY INSURANCE AGE 19 EK9 TYPE R(a good lagh for you guys)


Im only 21 with 1 years NCB, and 3 years experience driving.
I do however hold a US license aswell.

Ive been quoted $800 Fully Comp, Im Main driver on the policy with mum and dad as 2nd & 3rd drivers.
 
Im 18 and currently £1600 3rd party f&t on my EJ9 and that my girlfriend as main driver.
Before i had a saxo vtr which was around £1800 3rd party f&t also policy in girlfriends name. In my name it was around £3000.

And just to see i got a quote on a 2litre golf 16v gti mk3, was a ridiculous just under £7000
 
Am 19 and i see that most of you can get insurance for a ek9 for less than £2000 from wha i have seen. my cheapest quote that i have got is £3700 on a price comparison website. just wondering how i can get insurance for less than 2k or just over? many thanks for any information that will help.
 
i found calling companys or get quotes for the insurers themselves instead of comparison websites

Yeah same with me, impossible to get cheap insurance under 2k for ek9, which delaying plans for ek9!! Ah well ej9 it is for another year.

hi mate just wondering how you got that quote cos the cheapest am getting is £3770 on a ek9 and am 19 and for the civic Jordan they are quoting me £3200any suggestions on how i can lower this ridiculous price:((
 
got it down more mate its 2400 with mods down and 1 yrs no claims driving for a year and 9 months just look around also if you have more that 4 cars in your house try multy car insurance
 
I got a quote of £1956 for an ek9, im 19 with 1yncb 1year driving and thats me main driver...im going to wait for 2yncb in may to bring it down some more. 2k is still to pricey!

i think thats a decent price that mate:nice: i am willing to pay up to £2500 on a ek9. what company was that quote with and did you ring the company direct?

It is with admiral mate, (admiral, bell and elephant all gave me the same price as they are the same company) and it was on moneysupermarket.com

Tried it with other people as named driver after to see what the difference was, it was about 2-3k cheap being honest :p

im 20 years old living in ireland with an ek9..i have my full license 2 years and 3 years no claims bonus and im paying 176 euro a month.. works out at 2100 euro i think for the year... but hopin it will come down a fair bit when i turn 21 and will also have 4 years no claims bonus then hopefully :)been drivin the ek9 since just after i turned 18 .
