civics these days,,need to be well checked over before handing over cash! id get a good man with a welder and let him go at it,,you will be able to fix it,just means u will have to cut out all floor pan,and re do it,,take time but itl be a good job when finished,,give it a good underbody seal and full waxoiling.

Only seein this shite now so sorry for the bump but I haven't owned a Type R since this so how about you shut your lying mouth ya **** stirring fool
 
a would just see if you can cut some floor pan out another civic hatch or weld plates in, if thats the only parts rotten I would just weld it up.

But agree with ally still no excuse.
 
Unfortunately there are wayyy too many dishonest people in the honda community. A lot of straight and great people aswell but still too many people out to **** each other over!
Could you take the fella to court over that? Or is that not possible with private sales?
 
Not possible to take him to court lad even thow he claimed it was mint he could say to the best of his knowledege he thout it was unless hes a qualified mechanic then court could be a possibilty otherwise its at ur own risk and the really crafty huirs will catch folk
